Top 5, All-time Lessons Learned since Leaving Canada

Digging the lists, so here is my "Top 5, All-time Lessons Learned since Leaving Canada":

1. Canadian beer is better than Australian beer
2. Canadian beer is better than Singaporean beer
3. Drinking coconut juice straight from a coconut seems so right, but tastes so wrong
4. You damn well better "slip, slop, slap" when you are in Australia
5. Life under the ocean is at least as interesting and beautiful as life above it.

Top 10, All-time Australian Moments

If you haven't read High Fidelity by Nick Hornby, you should - it is damn funny. At a minimum go rent the movie staring John Cusack. Anyway, in the style of High Fidelity, here is my "Top 10, All-time Australian Moments":

1. Snorkeling with a green turtle at Turquoise Bay (Cape Range National Park)
2. Snorkeling with a school of some 300 convict anglerfish (Cape Range National Park)
3. Snorkeling with sting rays (Meline Bay -Margaret River area)
4. Climbing the Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree (Warren National Park)
5. Driving through Karri Tree forests (Margaret River area, Shannon National Park, Karri Forest Explorer Drive near Pemberton)
6. Walking through the Pinnacle Desert (Namburg National Park)
7. Hiking in Cape Le Grand National Park (including ascending Frenchman's Peak at 4AM to see the sunrise)
8. Being surrounded by 1000's of flying foxes (literally) and having hordes of them flying over my head (Elsie National Park)
9. Walking through a Tingle Tree forest to visit the Giant Tingle Tree (near Walpole, WA)
10. Being in the presence of the "end of the world" cliff faces in Southern Australia
